So quit spamming!  We've seen your link and most of us probably don't give a
damn about it.  Continue like this and you're liable to get some people pissed
at you.

Yo!

If thousands of users should promote their websites in this NG, there would
be nothing interesting at all to read here.

I don't want this newsgroup filled with spam. That's why I put people that
continously are spamming this group in my killfilter. That way I never have
to read those people's postings again - in any newsgroup. Your acting has
qualified yourself to an entry in my killfilter. I suggest that other people
who are annoyed by this spamming do the same.

SPAM THIS! you nerdburgs.

PLEASE learn what spam is before you start jumping on your almighty gpl
horse-power. Sure the post in question is lacking class, and yes, spam has
no class - however, no-class or poor taste alone does not SPAM make.

Someone said they had seen this posted 3 times...well, this is the only time
I saw it. Not that it wasn't there 3 times, but just because you saw it 3
three times doesn't mean everyone did.

I see nothing wrong with giving folks a link to sites related to the
newsgroup's topic. Try posting it once, if you truly have created a great
site the word will spread without your repeated help.

However, I do find it in bad taste saying "GO HERE" and nothing else.
PLEASE - tell us something about your site (where you overly proud because
it was the first site?) and why you feel it should be of interest to all of
us (does it provided links to GP3 sites including some German stuff?).
Otherwise, I may think its a *** ad and immediately go there : )

And last of all - maybe if everyone wasn't so ***ing hung up on 'not
mentioning links in a post' because they think the censoring ass***s will
come down on them, well, then it might not be so hard to find informative
stuff.

For example - I am not new to this group but do not read it every single
day. So, when I first read about GPLRank I was intrigued. Read through every
thread and searched through any post related to GPLRank, yet NOBODY bothered
to mention the addy.....THAT TO ME IS MORE FRUSTRATING THAN MY EYE HAVING TO
SKIP OVER A HEADER ABOUT A GP3 SITE.

Come on - this guy is trying to help out the community, and just because he
has bad judgment does not mean he should be crucified as if he were forcing
pop up ads or mass emails on people.

When is the last time you cry baby ***s put some effort into the
strengthening the community and not just ***ing about people you don't
agree with.

Great, let's all post all our messages three times, just in case
someone doesn't get them the first two times. Great idea.

Trying is not good enough, just don't do it. It's anoying.

Oh, the link to the GPLRank has only been posted 1.364 times in the
last couple of weeks. No wonder you missed them.

About a year ago someone constantly posted an ad for his 'great' GP3
site. No day would pass without an ad from him. Very irritating,
especially since the site didn't contain anything. Simply because
allmost no info about GP3 was available. I can remember he also was
Dutch. Wouldn't surprise me if it was the same gent.

Look who's talking...

I don't normally like to get involved with all the childish whining that go
on in here, but links to web pages is one of the things that I like to see
when I read news groups. Unfortunately I don't live reading these news
groups everyday like many here so it is possible for me to miss links posted
occasionally.  I never seen the site before, and even if I did I wouldn't
have been offended by it as I am by some of the useless posts I see here at
times.
I can't count the times I've seen posts for GLPrank or others for that
matter. But you know what? I'm not losing sleep over it.
