ICR2 patch affecting converted N2?

I had some trouble w/the free converter initially - but
it works now. However, I feel the car is different on these tracks. I
had to reinstall ICR2 before converting - and did not patch it before I
converted. Anyone else sense this (the growing understeer), or am I just
plain nuts, cheeseballs etc??
