> Xenophobic? Why do we use this word so much?

--Ever see the Moday Night Football commercial putting down German TV?  And
then basically declaring America the best country...
--Did you hear Tony George's reasoning for founding the IRL?
--World Seires only has teams from Canada and America, but in Japan
baseball's very big they should have MLB teams...right?
--NASCAR fans say CART is so bad because I can't pronounce a driver's name
(yet all their names are also foriegn to N. America)
--Most Americans refuse to learn other languages because English is
considered the language

Why are many Americans racist?  They are afraid of something
different....why are the xenophobic?  They are afraid of something
different....
Notice a pattern....dig a little deeper and look at the people who "hate"
CART because of it's foriegn driver's and their success, where are most of
them from?  Make the connection bud.

How noble, Chuck. Perhaps you'd like to e-mail that message to those in
Kosovo, Serbia and now East Timor. I'm sure that they'll be uplifted by your

LOL  Point well taken.  Just ponder, if more people actually considered such things
as true, would those problems tend to appear more or would you tend to see less of
them?  Seems mankind has chopped up the earth into countries much like urban youth
"groups" chop up cities into "turfs".  And its just as ridiculous.  Just as the
youths have no lawful claim on the land of the cities in order to declare "my turf",
and "your turf", the "countries" are also cut up from a planet not wholly owned by
those doing the sectioning.  And if others weren't so stinking worried about
"lording it over" others, much of these power struggles would be non-existant.
Greed, power, racism, nationalism, it all stinks.  And its everywhere on the globe,
I'll admit.  But there seems to be a high concentration  of each of those here in
the good 'ol US of A.

Thank you, Jon, I'm glad to see I'm not alone in noticing all this!  It really
is unsettling to see how commonplace these kinds of attitudes have become in
recent years in the US, even to the point of being fully embraced by the
mainstream media.  What gets me too, now, you can't even attend a race anymore
without a warplane flyover before things begin.  If *that* don't bring back to
mind stories from pre- and early nazi Germany, I don't know what does.  What do
machines of war have to do with a fun, enjoyable day at the races?  Nothing!  We
do such things to try & forget about such crap!

Your right Chuck.
Can't we all just get along?
It would be so much easier if everyone spoke the same language. So I suggest
all post to R.A.S. should from here on be in Esperonto.

I've seen post after post saying that N3 will have both IRP and IMS. Yet
none of the reviewers have stated that a complete list of tracks has been
released by Papyrus. So until such time as Papyrus releases that list,I'm
holding off any celebrating.

This is from
http://www.papy.com/n3/N3_index.html

Go there and read it for yourself, straight from Papyrus.

Now will you quit whining about if IMS is or isn't in N3???

YES IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is unless you think that IMS is called The Brickyard instead. IMS-The
Brickyard.

I can make it more simple if you want.

>>just a couple days ago, I never seen any info on the number of

>The claim by Papy is "20 or more" depending on the (servers) connection

>net at the time you are hosting.  The beta was reported to have a maximum
>allowed online drivers set to 32.

>As usual, we have to wait and see what is really practical (given the
>different types of high-speed connections).

This is the piece of information that I find most appealing.

The idea that we can choose to increase from 24 cars (TEN's limit) to 32 (or
more based on the software's limit) as long as we are willing to get the
kind of connection required.   The point here is WE can make the decisions
about how many cars we will support.. not a company with different
interests.

The complete list of tracks *has* been given by Papy - check their web

For your information, the use of military aircraft flying over a stadium
before a sporting event,is done to pay tribute to all those that freely gave
their lives in service to our country. It's not done to show current
military power as was the case in Nazi Germany.
