Hmmm...that's one of my favorite things about GPL as well....
The Viper demo seems to show possibilities and we haven't seen a demo for
Trans-Am or PSCR yet. Neither F1RS or the MGPRS2 demo work correctly with my
new PCI soundcard, so they're "on the shelf" ,and since GPL arrived, TOCA, GP2
and N2 sit unused as well.

You are kidding right? I sure hope so....while the graphics are nice, the
physics arent.

% Back when GPL was announced, the story I read was that
% Papyrus wanted to do a modern F1 sim, but the licensing
% costs were too high. Makes sense, especially with
% Ubisoft deciding to make a Monaco game rather than
% another F1 game.
Don't know whether Papy was planning on a modern F1 sim, but Bernie is
getting more money hungry that usual (if that is possible). I
understand that he wanted to up the $20,000 + % of sales deal he had
with Thrustmaster, to millions up front to continue their use of Formula
1 for their wheels outside of the USA.

I really like GPL but am looking forward to other sims.
BTW, I just upgraded my K6 233 Voodoo 1 to an AMD K62 350 and Voodoo II and
my lap times dropped by almost 6 seconds--better frame rate. Man, it is a
whole new sim.18 to 36 FPS<race , All details with 7 AI cars.
I'd like to see a late sixties CAN AM or GTP sim--you know those old all out
Big Block Chevy cars running at places like Lime Rock and the Glen. THAT
would be a great game too. With the ability to tune the engines too-- cam
timing etc...

I myself prefer the road racing type sims like ICR2 and GPL ( we won't
mention CART PR) -- A well done sim would be great and I'm sure that the
organizations that would need to do the licensing would welcome the
exposure.
I'm originally from Connecticut and used to live 15 minutes from Lime Rock
Park--I spent a LOT of time there and it is where the Skip Barber school
started-great little track. I'd love to take my K6 2 and Voodoo 2 around
that puppy.......
I wonder what Papy has in store for us after the next iteration of NASCAR?

>Yes! Driving a Chaparral around Riverside, Laguna Seca, Elkhart Lake,
>Mosport, Watkins Glen, etc., against Bruce McLaren, Denny Hulme, Jim
>Hall, Phil Hill, John Surtees, etc., would be awesome!
