GP3 for Xbox?

Since I sincerely believe the Xbox will profoundly change the game
consumer market in that it will gradually shifts them from PC to
console since it WILL off offer a superior, more stable, easy
programmable  and more user friendly platform, I can't see why GP3, or
World Sports Car for that matter, would't do it to Xbox. Any ideas...

Considering that the X-box is only going to be upgraded once every 5 years I
really do not think that PC Games need to worry.

The X-Box is quote "In addition, the X-Box won't allow upgrades. While X-Box
will be screaming fast when it ships next fall, Microsoft doesn't plan to
update the architecture for four to five years. During that time, technology
on the PC will likely leave the X-Box behind.

Also

"Microsoft is clear that it's a dedicated console system for the living
room. They're focusing on games that appeal to the console gamers tastes,
rather than on complex strategy games or simulation"

Btw, these quotes came from Computer *** World in which they talked to
Microsoft.

I'll believe it when I see it. I think PC based *** is secure for a long
while yet.
The hype about the death of *** on the PC are just a bit premature.

Well, the X-Box won't be with us for about a year yet, so GP4/5 would be
more likely than GP3.  Theres certainly no reason why we couldn't see a
Crammond game running on X-Box since it has a DirectX / C++ based
developement environment.
Within 6 months of X-Box release, the PC will steam past it in performance
terms.  nVidia will release a PC version of the 3d chip technology, and
X-Box only has a P3-600.  It also has a small hard drive and only 64 MB RAM.
Also developers are being told that their X-Box games must not install more
than 50MB of files to the Hard Disk.
And consider that it will use a tv, which means resolutions of 800*600 and
no higher, and where do you attach your steering wheel if you have to play
the thing sat in front of your tv?

There is a high chance that the GP franchise will reach the X box and
playstation 2 aswell.  It has been announced on some web sites that GP4 will
be available on the Dreamcast later this year.
