I already had Nascar 4, and now I've bought Nascar 2002. On the face of it
Nascar 2002 looks much the same. Have I made a terrible mistake and bought
a rebadged version of the same game?
TIA

NR2002 is the superior of the two, the differences might not be too
obvious at first, but it's well worth it, I trashed N4 after a couple of
weeks, NR2002 will be staying on my HD for quite some time ... and I
don't even like oval racing

At least till N2003 which was announced some time ago.
I'm glad something else is coming along so that I can jump off this cycle

It seems to me that they have tied whether the outside car dive bombs low or
not to whether spotters have been activated, and that's just plain bad. It
doesn't take into account getting a run on someone, nor does it allow for
the delay inherent with the spotters reaction in the game.

Talking about road courses here of course, I don't race on ovals :-)

I think Heat can be a bit more fun for part-time racers just due to the
nature of the game. I know visitors at my house find Heat much more
enjoyable than N4/NR2002.
