Hello,
I have a problem with my mouse driver in dos. It used to work but now
whenever I try to play nascar 2 it says: nascar 2 requires a mouse.
Please load your mouse driver. How do I do this? Please Help.
Thanks.

You load the mouse driver manually. Look for your mouse's directory on
your
hard drive. When you find it, there is usually some type of com or exe
file you
have to run to load the mouse driver. On my computer it is rather simple.
I go
to a directory called 'mouse', and then just type in 'mouse' (running
mouse.exe).

Have you removed or changed your Config.sys or Autoexec.bat files? If so
you were probably loading your mouse driver from there.
If not, you'll need to find your driver. In my system it is 'executed'
from Mouse.com which is in my Windows directory. My system doesn't have
a separate folder for the Mouse.
You might try having Win95 search for Mouse.* and see if it finds a .Com
or .Exe file. (The asterik is a wild-card so that Win95 will report ALL
Mouse.'any extension' files)
You can add the driver to your Dosstart.bat file (which is in your
Windows directory) so that it will be loaded any time you choose
'Start', 'Shutdown', 'Restart in MSDOS mode'. (Or you can just 'run' it
manually from your Dos prompt...or add it to the N2.Bat file if you are
using it...Or make a new .Bat file for Nascar2...)
Hope this helps,
Alan

You can load it manually like the other post says, or just add a line
similiar to this, LOADHIGH=C:\DRIVERS\MOUSE\MOUSE.EXE into your
AUTOEXEC.bat file, this will load the driver when you boot your pc.
Just change the path to fit your mouse driver
