Right Wheel for N2003?

I'm getting back into this after a few years out.  I'm looking for a good
wheel ... comments on what I should get?  I looked at a Logitech Momo and
was pretty impressed ...

Thanks!

I used the Logitech Momo FF Racing wheel and pedal unit.  I really like the
wheel, but I would recommend a pedal replacement.  Possibly with BRD or TSW
pedal units.

I was faced with the exact situation about 3 months ago. I bought Nascar
2003 and had a Thrustmaster Pro Digital Wheel (Really Bad Wheel BTW). I got
on this ng and ask pretty much the same question that you are asking. Most
everyone recommended the Logitech Momo and that is the one I bought. "And
boy were they right on". I really like my Momo and would highly recommend
it. I know a lot of people complain about the pedals, however I really don't
fine them to be that bad.

Same here.  Paid a fortune on Ebay for my Momo, and I feel like I still got
a deal.

They are talking about the red MOMO, not the Momo Racing wheel.  I have not
seen the red one at Best Buy or CompUSA in over a year.

If I wasn't keeping it for my spare computer when friends come over I'd sell
my red Momo since I don't like it.

Completely different products, one built to sell for around $200 and the
other for half that.  Differences?  Steel steerer shaft w/ball bearings,
leather wrapped wheel, metal shift paddles, etc...   The "red" one was
pretty much bulletproof as well, but the later, cheaper one seems to have
had some durability issues.  The newer one does use optical sensors for the
steering though, where the old one used a potentiometer with firmware signal
smoothing.  But then I'm still using my old original non-ff wingman
formula/CH pedal setup so what do I know?  Well, I know justdeals dot com
has the "recertified" Momo Racings for $55... ;-)
