I am running N2 with windows 95. The qualifying setup as been missing
from all the tracks. After reading Sierra support, I manually copied
the Qualify.STG files from the CD to the tracks. Once I had it copied,
I checked the properties and unchecked the read only box. My question
is, do I also need to copy over the Qual.ST1 file? What is this
file?, and if I do need to copy this file also, what are the attribute
settings?

The *.ST1 files are just a short txt file with the name of the "default"
*stg to use for either Qualifying or Racing setup. At the the top of
the garage sheet, you can select any of your saved setups for the
default. When you do this, a new *ST1 file will be created in your
track directory.
