N2K2S - championship mode bug

I made a similar post above "Help Championship season...." but it appears we
are the only two people in the world that actually plays the game.  If
someone doesn't help out (that is what this site is suppose to be about)
then I guess it's tech support on Monday. The other solution is to manual
keep track via single player races and export the results into Excel.

I'm running the "track championship" (i.e. you run all the tracks in
alphabetical order, starting with Atlanta). I ran Atlanta without a
problem (40% race) and I have nothing to complain regarding the AI. We
had one caution. Next race is Bristol and I didn't do it yet, but I
expect similar results. As far as the "export button" goes, I think you
have to make sure you select the proper tab in the standings (i.e. final
standing). I can't say anything regarding your other problem as I
haven't encountered it yet.

Give people a little bit of time before you burn bridges on this group. I
JUST got both of your messages, but cannot help since I don't play NA$CAR.

The online league I race in just put out a note warning the drivers to "save
the standings file before you save the race".

I'm running Championship mode and haven't had that problem...
I'm at Darlington, 5th race into the season, and no troubles.  I also
save the replays and export.  Mine are only 30% due to time
constraints - do you have alot of HD space free and memory?

From what I have read the problem happens when you save a session and come
bcak to it later.

What happens if you try it with a shorter race(10%)?  Maybe it's purely a
space/memory issue...

I have heard the same things. I too had this problem with it not saving the
results, and since I have not saved any given individual session of a race
weekend. So far so good, I have not had the problem since then.
