Now there is a GP3 track editor, I hope someone will make/edit following
tracks.

BTW, maybe someone should coordinate to prevent parallel devellopments.

updates for existing tracks

Monza 1967 (without chicanes)
Monza 2000 (changed first chicane)

Imola 1993 (without chicanes in Tamburello)

new tracks

Spa 1967 (the long one)
Zandvoort (used for testing)
Kylami (used for testing)
Sepang
Indianapolis GP track
Brands Hatch
Donnington Park
Old Nrburgring
Le Mans

As all those are (scratch Spa'67, The Ring and Sarthe-Le Mans, they're too long)
already available for Gp2, I'd imagine it's just a question of converting them
somehow.

Spa'67 and Le Mans are available in slightly shorter form for GP2.  And I
believe that GP2 tracks can now be converted to GP3.

So how long are these three tracks?  Can they be much longer than the Ring from
GPL(14 miles)?

GP2 had a much shorter maximum track distance.  If my memory is correct,
it was something like 7-8 miles for the maximum.

Spa was almost 9 miles long at best, and the full Le Mans course is currently
well over 8 miles long. That's above the GP2/3 limit, I belive.

A classic. Also the old Germany track please. (As you can tell I'm a
speed freak! ;-)

You mean Hockenheim without chicanes? Sounds great. But AFAIK there has
never been an F1 race art the track in that configuration. In 1970, when
Rindt won, it already had the first and third chicane.

Another option: AVUS: a couple of miles autobahn with hairpins at both ends.

But since banked corners are possible (Interlagos, last corner), it is
possible to create ovals for the real speedfreaks. Just ad a CART or IRL
carset....

I think ovals are going too far, that wouldn't be interesting to me.
But current tracks with a bit more banking would be cool.

Oh, I didn't realize GP2 *had* a distance limit.  I've never run any of the
'add-on' tracks.

Yeah, that's why we never had some of the All Time Great Tracks in GP2.
Like the 'Ring! <g>

As boring as banging two bricks together.

Ditto.

Somebody convert Brands Hatch, O'Ring and Mosport to GP3 and that's about it!
