That just sounds like it could not write a graphic or missed some pixels
somewhere, perhaps you lost a bit of data from the end of the race?   My
replay started on lap six of the race so something wierd happened.  Check
the server to see if it glitched at the end or perhaps right after the
reset.

<snip>

272 mb ram.  My budget does not allow for a lot.   64mb NVIDIA GeForce2
video card.  I have my graphics options way down, currently I am giving up a
lot visually to gain framerate.  I have the average rate up to around 40 now
and it does make it easier to negotiate on track.  Maybe I will win the
powerball lottery tonite  :-).

My client replay started fine from practice on.  How much RAM do you have?
Server replay looks ok from what I've seen...

If the race was as long as I hear it was, holding the whole replay with
256MB of RAM is probably pushing it, especially at such a large track such
as Pocono.

256MB is enough RAM for most situations though.  You should be ok.

What he needs to do is to set his replay buffer to 128000
("ReplayMemoryOverride" in core.ini or player.ini.)

<SNIP>

ok, opened the Nascar Racing 2003 folder, found core.ini and opened that in
notepad, found ReplayMemoryOverride and changed the value from 0 to 128000.
Went to file and clicked on save.  I have since raced at Indy and saved the
replay for revue, track is relatively new to me but is sure fun to
powerslide around :-).  Anyway, the replay is about 8 seconds of practice.
That is all I got??  Changing the value back to zero now  :-(

Well, I decided to try another race and this time it saved.  No restart
except for the game, but it was not open when I made the change so it should
have loaded the new file the first time.  Will just have to see how it works
over time.  The next long event I will be in is RASCAR I am sure.
