F1C extra circuits not coming up? :0(

I'm having the same problems as below, any ideas?  I think it might have
something to do with the GDB files or something?

thanks,

James

I've downloaded a couple of extra circuits for F1C but I can't see them in
the game. I thought I just had to copy the relevant folders into the season
data folder.

I've also installed the demo V8 championship which shows no circuits at all
but if I start a session I get into Silverstone. Also I can only see the F1C
circuits in the ETCC mod even though I've put Bathurst and LeMans Night in.

Anyone any ideas, I'm installing onto a second drive not using the default
install folder.

P4 3Ghz, ATI 9800 Pro and Win XP Pro.

Andi.

You have to edit the trackname.gdb for each track to include a proper
filter.
Near the top you will see a line that shows the tracks for 1999, 2000,
2001, and 2002.  You will have to also put on the same line the filter for
the V8's (due to my recent hd replacement I don't have this on to verify
the proper name) and another filter for etcc.  The filter word for ETCC is
etc03.   To be honest I don't know if you must have a track in the
ETCCseason\circuits folder or if you can place them in the main circuits
folder and use the filter.

With ETCC Mod you use the Importing Tracks utility provided kindly by the
makers of the mod.

With others you just add the filter line...

For example if it reads like this now  1999,2000,2001 you make it read
1999,2000,2001,AUSSIEV8      for the V8 mod

If it reads 1999 AND 2000 AND 2001 you make it read 1999 AND 2000 AND 2001
AND AUSSIEV8

But ETCC Mod you dont touch it..you use the utility on the Menu
