Hi, just played Sega Rally 2 on the pc. This is really a bad game.
Ofcouse it's not realistic, it's an arcade game, but it's no fun.
Incredibly simple to drive and win (I won the championship on my first
try) ,the graphics are outdated, and the game has only 4 simple
tracks.
Only positive thing was the force feedback which was quite hectic and
fun, really arcade style.

Not a big review this, but a sad game like this doesn't deserve more.

You should have played it some more! I really like the game (though I
thought it was ***at first). It has more than four tracks. I think it
has about seven or eight in three variations each. It also has more
cars than you get at first.

However, you need to play it for a while to unlock the tracks and the
cars..........or you get a savegame file that does it for you ;-)

Also, I did not notice any slowdowns that others have been complaining
about. Actually I find the graphics quite good and while I am playing
on easy I still have difficulties making it through the snow tracks in
practice mode..........

Is there a demo of SR2 anywhere? I -never- buy unless I can try first...

Well, maybe I should have tried it more. But I played it for an hour
or so, and then I really got bored. I find the game ridiculous easy
(maybe I've played to much GPL), and the graphics... well, I still
think they are really poor. They offer nothing new. Yes, the fps is
superb, but that's not such a big deal considering that the graphics
are so simple.
But I was only stating my opinion, maybe the rest of the world will
love this game. I you enjoy it, great! But in that case, try Collin
McRae rally, you'll love it....
