Hello again-

        I was able to obtain engine sounds in the Nascar 2 demo
with my Ensoniq card by doing the following:

-  Changing the Announcer Priority setting back to around 85.  This
   setting can be found under the Sounds icon on the Options screen.

I left the levels on all the others at 100.  I had also copied my
sound.cfg file over from the original Nascar, although the autodetect
did pick up my card at first.  Not sure if this will help anyone else,
but I thought I would throw it out for some thought.

I said this before and I'll say it again....If you set announcer priority
to 100, YOU WILL NEVER HEAR ENGINE SOUND. If you set announcer priority to
0, YOU WILL NEVER HEAR THE SPOTTER, its that simple. Understanding this
should solve many people's problems. You have to set a nice balance between
the two.
