I believe thrustmaster will replace them free.  Try their site.  They
replace my broken springs with better ones for free.

Go to http://www.thrustmaster.com/support/cs/customer/login.cfm register
your product and then order a replacement pot.  They will ship it to you
free of charge.

In the meantime, try cleaning the pot with some electronic
contact/switch cleaner.  Or you can remove the pot and take it apart an
wipe the insides clean.

I believe the pots used in the T2 wheel are 200-250 ohm pots.

Those pots that TM uses are very unique (an lousy BTW) becase the
shaft is splined and it's kind of an odd size and unfortunately you
need the exact same ones to replace them unless you modify the
mounting that the fit in.  Apparently TM will send you new ones
but, I hate the idea replacing crappy components with more of the
same thing .It's realy too bad , I love my GP1.
I'm sure a TSW-Davidian will be along any minute to tell you that
their pots are easier to replace. They are, but  it's not worth the
extra $300 to me.
