Ok, I cannot get the GTR demo to work.

I d/l'd the demo after seeing links to the press version here on RAS.

I've installed the program ok, I entered what I assume is the correct
password (also posted here on RAS) and I can start the game, change
settings in the menu's, select my controller, etc all ok.

But when I select the race button, the screen goes back to the windoze
desktop.

I'm using win xp home (with all latest updates) and Directx 9a and I've
tried using every screen resolution I can think of. I have an Asus A7N8X
deluxe m/b with AMD Barton 2500 with 512mb pc2700 ram and a Radeon 9600
pro AGP card (128mb).

Anyone got any ideas on how to get this working, ta...

This happened to me when i tried changing the graphics settings in game. Did
you? If you did then reinstall it and dont change the graphics options.

Run DXDiag, and make sure you have D3D enabled.
