Diamond Monster Sound in N2/Icr2 ?

The card only works in Win95, but has a pass through if you want to keep
your old card for use in DOS.  The sound will work with both ICR2 and
Nascar2 in a Win95 DOS box, but I've heard it will not recognize the
gameport.

BTW, GPL will be Win95 native.

In regards to the monster sound, i bought one yesterday and cannot get N2 to
automatically detect it. Seems to lock up everytime. I thought it might be
the irq which is set at 11 in the control panel and won't allow me to change
it. N2 doesn't allow you to select 11 as a choice.  Is there anything you
know of that might work. Appreciate it.

Diamond Monster Sound in N2/Icr2 ?

The problem is that Monster Sound is a win 95 card that can emulate SB (Pro
?), or you can use the passthrough cable to use your existing SB (or
compatible isa card).  N2 is a MS DOS-based program so you must use your
existing card.  So your settings in the game should be for your other sound
card.  I've found that the pass-through is not very efficient and have to
turn volume way up so that I can hear any of my DOS-based games that I play
in windows.
