Saitek R440 pedal & FF problems in GTR

by John » Fri, 30 Dec 2005 19:02:34

I have just got a Saitek R440 wheel & pedal for Xmas which works ok
with GTR but the throttle (gas) pedal seems to only have a limited
range. It dosn't start working until it is quite a way down. Also the
FF does not seem to be very strong. Has anyone had this problem.

4ax.com:

i have the `overall device gain` set at 60% strength and the rest set at
zero in the control panel settings. ive attached the ffb settings i use in
all ISI sims,it feels strong with subtle kerb effects, i like them try them
yourself. just copy and paste over the top of your current settings in your
`.plr` file. BACK IT UP FIRST!!  try recalibrating in the game to cure the
pedal problem, plus give the 2 pedals a full push and the wheel lock to
lock to autocalibrate them when you first plug it in and start the game.
any more probs get back here and i`ll try and help some more.
Happy New Year !
