Just got N2002 but can't log onto the Sierra server. Tells me i have an
invalid cd key ?? The sim runs fine offline.

  Did you buy the cd used??  You may have picked up a copy from a known
wrecker who got banned from Sierra.

No, nothing sinister to report. I swapped a good friend GP3 for the disc. He
doesn't race online so he wouldn't have even known it was invalid for
multiplay ! He in turn was given the sim so don't know who to blame, but
it's definitely a good lesson learnt... I won't miss GP3 so no harm done,
but i didn't realise how great N2002 was or i would have grabbed a copy much
sooner. I'm in a league race tonight at Phoenix but haven't raced the ovals
since Nascar3 so very very rusty...I better get some laps in or I could end
up being the damn wrecker !<g>

You may have been banned from Sierra.  Or, someone may have gotten ahold of
your key, drove like an idiot, and got YOU banned.

It's all done by the key now.  Changing screen names won't get you around
it.

Just a possibility.
