I don' tkno wif anyone has done an informal survey like this, but if they did, I missed it entirely. I'd just like GPL drivers to chime in with their opinions on the following-

Most difficult corner in GPL?

My answer would probably be either the Gasworks hairpin at Monaco or Nouveau Monde at Rouen. I never get either of them right.

Scariest first turn?

I think I've seen more accidents at turn 1 at Kyalami. Fast, decreasing radius, at the bottom of a hill. What else coule you ask for?

Most exhilirating spot?

The Flugplatz.... 8^)

Most sentimental spot?

Crossing under the banking at Monza. Of course, that's because of the film Grand Prix.

Any more, or thoughts on these?

Hmm...... I would agree with your choices but also add in The Loop at
Watkins. It's easy to get through but so hard to get right!

Tarzan! Just trying to brake later and later :-)

Tough. I would say either Spa's Masta or Tiergarten at the Ring. I
somehow managed to take the latter flat yesterday :-)

My vote for favourite track goes to Rouen. Other than the hairpin it's
just AMAZING!

I would have to agree with the Gasworks hairpin at Monaco.
Impossible to get right.

I think perhaps mexico eventhou track is lame.  Always seem to
have incidents at the start.

Eau-Rouge.  Just the idea of flying towards it and trying to get the
car to stick at max speed possible.

Anywhere at Mosport since it's my home track and crew up with my
dad racing and now me.  Corner 2 has special meaning as it's great
fun to great right but a *** if you don't.  Trust me, going off
in a FF1600 is no fun at all!

Sorry I missed the original message, but hey, I'll give my 2 cents...

Hmm... tough because there are so many! I'd have to say the Moss hairpin
and turn Immediately preceeding it at Mosport. Putting those two
together is NOT easy. It's totally off-camber.

Easy. Spa... Eau Rouge is NOT a cupcake. A tie for a close second is
Rouen, because I find it too easy to drop a wheel off, and the
decreasing radius at Mexico.

The chicane at Monaco... hold my breath every time.

Hmm... The Glen is good, being American. Zandvoort is such a blast...
But I'd have to go with all 14 miles of the Ring. Totally unique
(although Mosport is a shrunken version) back then, and there is nothing
like it today.

I too missed the original message but ill give my opinion.

I can think of two that are about equal for me.  The Gasworks hairpin at Monaco
because theres no clear braking point.  Also id have to say Masta Kink.  Its
easy enough going slow but when you try to go through there fast it gets harder
and harder

Crowthonre at Kyalami.  Its not scary when hotlapping but in a race you have
that loooong straight to think about screwing it up (especially if youre
running good).

Flugplatz....hands down.  Theres also EauRouge but Flugplatz just really gets
my heart going.

I guess id have to say Spa just because it was always my favorite GP track
(even the present "toned down" version).

The Gasworks hairpin at Monaco. No idea how to do this one. The chicane at Monaco
is a beast as well. Come to think of it, the whole circuit is difficult.

Rouen - It's so close to the start line and the cars at the back of all shunt into
the cars at the front.

The looooong left hander at Rouen.

Monza because it's in Italy and because it's the only track I can keep up with
anyone on.

Paul

Gasworks at Monaco.  I always seems to get car crossed up during braking
and it makes getting corner even close a real pain, even for a diehard
Autocrossed
floor for next turn.
it right I get a very warm special feeling.
Turn 2 at Mosport.  It reminds me of a corner at Hallet Motor Racing
Circuit in Oklahoma called The B*tch.  Both are blind entry and downhill,
but The B*tch is a very fast corner.  Really fast guys can even make a pass
in The B*tch.

What lo-o-o-o-ng left-hander?  There's a lo-o-o-o-ng *right*-hander at
Rouen.....or are you running the track backwards? :o)

No I confuse left and right regularly. I'm a ***navigator as my wife will tell you:

1) All of the Nurburgring.
2) Eau Rouge.
3) Masta kink, Spa Francorchamps.
4) Each location where a driver has been killed, on any circuit.  Now
you go and do your homework and figure that out and you will be shocked
by the result.
