For a quick fix, it sounds to me that you've just got to switch the
top two cars around on your MULTI list. Or swap lists.
Once you have the latest patch, just make sure you both have all the
car files that feature in your lists. Then make sure your lists are
identical and carry the exact same cars. Then just place your car at
the top of your list, and your friends second (optional, anywhere will
do I believe) and make sure he does the same, putting his car at the
top etc...
That should work. :)
