Yeah!  Love it too, despite some minor bugs but the idea is
there and it's great.  All they need to do is to adjust some
minor things in the AI but that's it.  Just think what it
could become if it would work hand in hand with GP2!!!
Manage your own team in GPM and when it is race day then we
go and race OUR car for OUR team with OUR specs and with OUR
sponsors.

I just picked up GPM, and after reading a few bad reviews in this

This game is great. I've been playing it for a couple of nights (till

I'd give it eight out of ten.

I totally agree, in fact it's on my toolbar now and while waiting for a page
to load, I'll switch over real quick and agonize over the fact that Hill is
earning 12500000 off me, yet is unhappy and is switching to the McLaren team
after his contract wears out.

One question though, how'd you get the game.  Are you here in the states?
Babbages, Software City or anyone else doesn't seem to carry the game.  I
wonder why?  It was advertised in CGW, yet I had to order from Chips and
Bits.  I hope the same doesn't happen with GP2, the two day wait time for GPM
seemed long enough.

Joseph
Oh with the car weight, I had a seriously heavy car and then wonder of
wonders, I looked at the weight of the engine I was running.  After signing a
French driver I was able to secure a contract with Renault for a lighter
engine.  Maybe that helps as it always seems my car is "looking to heavy"
also.

That's such an outstandingly good idea that it's bound to be ignored
and lost forever.

Such a shame,

James.

Hang on a minute! This is the Windows based F1 management game. I
thought it was designed to be used with GP2, and was part of the reason
for the delays. - According to PC Gamer anyway.

Forget it.. MPS have said that there are no immediate plans for
integration. The big problem is that there's 2 programming teams
involved and the complexities of GPM (the way that you control 2 cars for
example) make it impossible at this time. Mind you they also said there
were no plans for a patch, so you never know. I doubt it though.

Well here in Canada (at least where I live), it doesn't seem
to be a problem.  I have seen quite a few computer store
selling them.  How do you find the game?  For myself, just
finished my fifth season with Ferrari and won my first
championship driver and constructor!  And only have
70millions in the bank (for the bad years to come!!!).
