gpl: Eagle setups?

Just a *** - can anyone direct me to a set of stable, predictable Eagle
setups suitable for a fairly mediocre driver such as myself?

Alternatively, should I switch marques and drive a more forgiving chassis?

Thanks in advance,

Rick.

Alison's original setups were famous for their plow-- err stable
characteristics :)  strongly recommended for newbies.  The others there like
Bert's are decent too.  After you get used to keeping throttle on while
braking and want sharper turning characteristics (this takes awhile to
learn) try the LightsOutRacing setups and finally the RolandE setups.  I'm
using the RE setups more and more lately, and a few of the GHuttusGP setups.
In other words get a bunch of them and try them all.

I really think the Coventry/Cooper is the easiest car to start out with.
It feels as stable as the Eagle, but seems to turn in better.

<snip>

It depends what you mean by "fairly mediocre", and how you like to
drive. I'll assume it means you're not a newbie, but not an alien
either (join the club...). I largely rely on (sometimes *slightly*
tweaked) Roland Ehnstr?m setups. These are quite slidey, but not in a
frightening way, and if you like a fairly oversteery car (as I do)
they're very good indeed. I suppose if you're consistently sub-3:30 or
so at Spa you'd get something out of them.

Having said that, I don't driver Eagles all that much except at Spa and
Le Mans Sarthe (and, latterly, the Glen), so treat my words with
caution...!

To me the only way to go with setups is the Chris Moses way.....
Have a go at it http://www.racesimcentral.net/

The T25 setups are extremely easy to drive due to their low rollbar
settings, and I have gotten so used to this that I cannot drive anything
else ;)

*Doh* forgot to mention that I'm -36 with the Eagle, so even if the Moses
setups are easy and very very driveable they can still make you go
relatively fast.

Excellent - thanks all.

I've taken a bit of advice from all of you. Gone back to the Cooper with
Alison's setups, but have also bookmarked the other sites mentioned for a
later date. Look out GPLRank...here I come!

Thanks again,

Rick.

What's the difference between T25 and T60?
For Moanza there is only a "T60" setup.
