Don't let em get ya down Olav, CART will be fine, there is plenty of
positive things happening, new races, new sponsors, SPEEDVISION, 140 million
dollars, and so on.
CART may be experiencing some growing pains right now, but I'm not worried
at all.
Open wheel oval racing is on the way out, but we don't depend on ovals, now
do we?
Besides, my main beef with the irl is the crappy drivers, and underfunded
"who the hell are they" teams. not to mention the fake racecars. If CART
joins the irl, all that will be gone!
No more billy boats, no more racing dentists, no more amateurs from the dirt
track,
and hopefully no more fake racing.
Yes, with TG announcing he will not protect any irl teams I think the only
hope for the irl in it's current form is a healthy CART series. Ironic, eh?
