i hope i didn't sound snotty or anything as i went for weeks when i first
upgraded not knowing whether i was going to fart or go blind. but after
hours (i've not much of a life) it all worked out...... so far!
the one thing i have figured out..... there are a lot of problems for a lot
of different folk and i'm feeling fortunate enough right now to do nothing
else with my system until i get a santa cruz or something......
are you using those wdm drivers for 2000? i heard of a lot of problems with
them.
ANNNNdddddd........ that george breese pci latency patch...... that sent a
lot of my problems packing on its own.
here's another vortex faq page
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/chris.day/vortex.html
if you've already weeped and gnashed yr teeth and made sure yr not in pci
slot 1 and done all this happy crappy and i'm just repeating.....
well, dang that sux. i hope some of this helps.
