MX300 and Aureal Vortex AU8830 Drivers ???- Help Please

I just downloaded and installed Aureal Vortex AU8830 version 4.06.2048
driver for my MX300.  Every thing seems ok, except that in Vortex control
panel, when I go to test  A3D settings for my quad speaker setup (Altec
Lansing ACS54) I get absolutely nothing out of the rear speakers.

Prior to the new driver, I was running the Monster II driver that came with
the card.

Any one have a suggestion on what I need to do to get sound back in mw rear
speakers.

there should be some drivers specifically for your Monster at the Aureal
site...

If you set the speakers to quad then if the game is only stereo it will only
play through the front speakers. If you choose satellite or monitor speakers
then the sound will come through all speakers in stereo x 2.
