I have two computers hooked up with a null modem cable. I want to play NFS
on them but I can't buy another copy of the game. Is there some way to use
just the one CD.

I've heard you could rip the game without the entire contents of the CD if
you don't go into the track and car discription areas.  As soon as you do
though, it crashes.  Experiment with installing more and more onto your HD
until you can play the game w/o the CD in the drive.
