I have a brand new Thriller 3d Rendition card and are having problems when I
run the nr1999r.exe  I get the following message. PCIAccess failed
VPDGet found no boards
unable to initialize video(maybe no vesa driver?)
when I run uvconfig,
It says no Supervga found
Any ideas? TP

just a guess since I haven't messed with N299 at all, but you might want
to try the V2dosfix.exe file that is available from several sites.
www.bjorn3d.com or Eagle Woman's site.
good luck

I don't think this is the case....with NASCAR 2 it was, but I believe the
V2X00 should be recognized under DOS with NR1999. My Stealth II worked fine
without DOSFIX.

Ya, you need a file named V2DOSFIX.EXE

Your v2000 based graphics adapter will not be recognized under DOS
without the NR1999r.exe file being modified.  This program should
help.

What I didn't know was that there is a bad bug between the Rendition chip
and my winmodem. TP
