Mine does this too, but not consistently.  I run a C300a (at - don't pass
out - 300mhz) with 64meg 100mhz RAM on a PC100 AT board.  It happened more
often at 450mhz, so I clocked it back to normal, but it still does it once
in awhile.  Heat is not the issue, BTW.  Can't figure it out.

Hi,

Just to add to Papy's NR99 bug list, in case no one else has reported this,
my game completely crashes back to Windows if I pass someone in the line-up
before I cross the start line (at the beginning of a race).  I know we want
to discourage unruly driving, but an in-game warning or message would
suffice :)

Marc.

Marc, mine never has.  I don't get to race a LOT, but I do run
in an offline league, so it's at least once a week.

For tracks with 40 cars in the track.txt (i.e. 1 player, 1 pace car,
and 38 opponents), using a cars drawn ahead setting of 39 will cause
the game to crash in this situation.  One work-around is to simply
reduce the cars drawn ahead to 38.

THANK YOU!!!

I was begining to think my C300a was begining to melt.  NR1999 crashed for
the third time in a row this evening.  After your fix, works flawlessly!
