As DH sez: nee NASCAR Heat.  Quite user friendly (as the cliche would have
it), but the physics sucks and the multiplayer don't hunt.  Not bad, tho, as
an entry-level racing game.

Have you watched your hands after that or do you just wear gloves so you
don't wear off the historic dirt ? :-)

57....then you were over 50 when you took the BR1000 crown a couple of
years ago, not bad :-), hope you'll be joining us online this autumn

Yes, sadly, I have had a shower since then, Goy! :)
With regard to BR2003, you never know. I'm tip-toeing into the on-line
waters at the moment, having tried a couple of casual NASCAR2003 races over
the weekend, just to see how things go. Kept out of the way of the
professionals, which was my aim.
I'm also contemplating joining RASCAR - I think that the schedule will fit
in too.

Regards,
Bruce.

Console but not on the PC?  Shoot.  Looks like I won't be able to run
it.  :(

Thanks for the info.

OTOH, there will be a whole new NASCAR Thunder (not just a make-over) from
ISI, the guys who brought you F1 2003, F1 2002, F1 2000, and F1 1999 (which
are themselves being spruced up & re-released as an anthology: F1 Challenge
for the PC and F1 Career Challenge for consoles) soon.

That's primarily true of series like F1 and CART, where the braking
distances have become so short that passing is nigh on impossible.

Watch SPEED World Challenge.

That's a pretty harsh statement to make about the physics. IMO, I
thought it was quite good in the physics department, being a console
title. It was a hell of a lot better than NT2003 by miles.

Did you bother turning on the *** physics option?

If you ever got up to the Cup cars, the game really shined. The only
downside was not having enough real world drivers being in it.
