(a) you can get it for $40.  (b) the Joyswitch allows for switching
between *four* controllers, in addition to *two* foot controllers.  I
once had an ACP (now sold), a Wingman Extreme, and two other
joysticks, and being able to switch between them all was pretty nice.
Well worth the price, very solidly built, I think it's a great idea
and a great product...

Just get a joystick cable extension for about $10. route all your joystick cables to an easy to get to spot (I
used a small bracket and screwed it to the side of my desk). That way you can easily swap out joysticks
without going behind the computer. Plus, if your like me, I find pretty hard to believe someone can charge
$50 for essentially an A/B switch box.

Just my 2 cents,

Right, but you didn't understand.  $40 is WAY too much!!  A bracket with
an extension cable can do *INFINITE* controllers.

Can you say, "I'm not going to pay a lot for this muffler?"

PS - This is almost as bad as buying 'computer' speakers for $399 when
you can get some SERIOUS speakers for $399.

If that's all that it did. The joyswitch also provides power to your
WCS II, supports 1 of 4 joysticks with 1 of 2 rudder pedals (J2 X
axis). You'd be hard pressed to come up with a solution for under $20
that can do what the Joyswitch can. Add your time designing and
building it.....

Different strokes. User A wants sound, user B want 100 watts, SRS
surround, flat response, etc., etc.
