Alright, so the downstairs neighbors are buying a
new PC, and we're going to network them. I already
have NFS, which of course won't work over the
net. Now does anyone know: if they buy NFS SE, will
I be able to install it on my PC and use it with the
regular NFS CD, or will I have to buy another copy of
NFS SE? Or is it too soon to tell?

As an alternative, is there some way that I can
direct connect the serial ports? They're way too far
apart for a regular null-modem cable, and I know
already we'll be playing a *lot*, so we won't be able
to use the phone lines.

TIA, jason

Hmmm, how far away is your neighbour's PC? We have a
self-made null-modem at home (about 15 meters) and it
works well.
