Is the notchy feel of the wheel normal or not?
I have turned off all of the ff and it still
feels notchy. Long sotry short, this is my second
wheel, support for this wheel sucks, and I'm
quite pissed off right about now.

I've had one since Feb and it should definatly not be "notcy". It should be
verys mooth indeed. Which games have you tried it with? It runs fine in F1
2000, GPL, GP3 Need4speed5, TOCA2 and viper racing
The only way I've ever managed to get mine to behave in a "notcy" fashion is
wahen I was fiddling about with my FF settings in GPL.

These are my core.ini setings for the FF in GPL

[ Joy ]
allow_force_feedback = 1 ;

force_feedback_latency = 0.0045 ; in seconds
force_feedback_damping = 300 ; magic number2
max_steering_torque = 150 ; in Newton-inches

Try this in GPL and if your wheel is still "notcy" it may be faulty.

Hope This works as its' a fantastic wheel especially in GPL

Try to take of the damping....mine is 0.000000
Also, no spring, damping or centering forces on windows controller setup.

GPL is the blast...

It feels very smooth to me, only if you turn it very slowly, you can feel
small notches, but really quite honestly it should feel very smooth when
driving and forces should be subtle changing.
