I can't play Nascar4 with the keyboard, the damn car just won't turn enough.
Am I missing something obvious or does N4 *have* to be played with an analog
device ?

thx

I play N4 via the keyboard all the time.  (don't have a joystick or wheel
here).  The trick is to set the car so that it does not pull to the left so
much.  Once you tweak the setup to stop the pull the car is very drivable
via the keyboard.

Because you can get a Thrustmaster T2 or many other wheels off E-Bay for as
little as $15.

I suppose it's okay to see what the game is like using the keyboard, but
you're missing so much of the point by not using a wheel. There is a reason
people don't drive cars with keyboards. If you enjoy the game at all you
will enjoy it a lot more with a wheel.

I will gladly join anyone in this group for an online race, and as long as
the server has a decent ping, I will race you just as hard as anyone with a
wheel, and I currently have a 14 race win streak going on at various tracks
on various servers.

I can race the AI locally at 102% and win consistently as long as I don't
get into a wreck.

Just look for me around, I use NTMADMAN as my online race handle.

try putting the steering lock up to about 85 - 90 % that kind of worked for
me.
