Just heard that my copy of Nascar 2002 is here in the UK, and on its way to
me in London. Just thought I would share my abundance of joy with you all.

Never bought mine from a large games outlet, but instead have an American
import from a small computer shop on the outskirts of London.

Is the European version a stripped version again as it was with N4?

How much did you pay? It's only about 17 on official release on March 1.

Not sure about 2002, but I paid 45 for an import copy of N4 last year.
I was happy to pay that and continue to support my local independent
software retailer. Oddly enough, even though it was my money i spent, it
seemed to upset a few people that I effectively gave away 25!

That 25 was well spent since the European version was a ripped
version :-/

I have just about a full winston cup set of paints in my euro-spec N4
install, and I'm not fussed about "chassis 1" vs "chevrolet"...

I'll take the money I think :o)

Ill take it too :) especially when theres a patch that brings all
the logos and the names back! there was a patch for the international
N4 Version, lets hope the guy does it again!

I was replying to Andre saying the euro version was "ripped" and therefore
the US version was worth 25 extra. I disagreed with him on that point.
If I had disagreed with your reasons for supporting your software
supplier, I would have replied to you and said so.

There's really no need, as the International version has all 4
manufacturers and logos out of the box just like the US version.
