Voodoo 5 and f1 2002???

by Alexander Markin » Thu, 22 Aug 2002 23:30:32

Is there somehow a way to get f1 2002 to work with a voodoo 5 5500 agp.
It seems that this game has no support for this card. Gp4 works oke, but
with all the comments in this newsgroup that f1 2002 is better I would
like to find out myself.
however f1 2002 won't run.
If there is anyway to let it run let me know.

Thanks.

I managed to get the demo to run on my V5...but it always crashed on
exiting.  Not  a huge problem, but annoying.  It was also not
particularly fast or good looking, IMHO.

This was using the last official V5 Win98 drivers, v1.04 IIRC.

What OS / drivers are you using?

Voodoo 5 and f1 2002???

Before swapping my videocard to a Radeon 8500LE a few weeks ago, my system had
a Voodoo5 and F1 2002 was running fine on it.

I run Win 98SE, and from what I recall, I was using the official 3Dfx 1.04 (or
thereabouts) drivers.  I believe the date was November 2000.  Good Luck with
it!
