What do you guys think should be the demo track for F1 2000? Besides Monaco.

Monaco.

Well Spa, of course!

Seriously, I would suggest to ISI that the Indianapolis Formula 1 track,
even if quite boring, would be an excellent choice.  What better track to
catch up with the American audience than an American track?  Unless EA wants
to keep that track for the people who will buy the title.  If not well I say
Spa or Montreal.

I'd say Melbourne (first race of the season... first game of the 2000 season)
or Indy cause that'd really catch eyes driving the 2000 track (modeled by
orignal game designers) for the first time.  But an easy one would be monza (but
it is changeing this season)... i dunno.  Either way I want a demo :)

I still like the idea of seeing Monaco. It will prove the hardest test for
the graphics engine if the demo allows a large field to race. Otherwise if
the clip the field down for the demo I would say Indy will gain the biggest
head turn from the American audience...which is the target - yes?

And while were off topic with which track... just thaught I'd request the Macau
Circuit... :)  That one's pretty ***in.  Just watched the 99' f3 race there today on
Speedvision.  Forgot to add it last comment.. but oh well.

Aslong as the model wasn't as bad as they did for SCGT.  But also it is the wrong
series.

Id like to see that Macau track too.  Also the new Korean F3 street track.  I
saw it on Motorsport Mundial on SPV (great show btw if you never saw it) and
man oh man...talk about shoot the gap street racing!!  This one segment of
track goes from about 5 cars wide down to about 2 VERY abrubtly.  Its
interresting to say the least...

Yeah... now that I think of it... a f3 sim would be pretty ***in with all those
unique tracks they have.  And that area it squeezes from 3 lanes to like 1.25
lanes for a chicane combo.  Man just awesome.

I think the F1 2000 demo should contain two tracks (much like the MGPRS2 demo
did) and have Indianapolis and Hockenheim.  Indy, for those of us who have sim
experience, and Hock for those who know how to punch the gas and go.  :)

Actualy, I'd have to agree wiht you dan.  I'd like to see Indy... it'd give that
nice "hey this game is for the 2000 season" touch.  And Hockenheim is a good
simple course.

The target is the European based F1 fans. Its being published by EA Europe.
ISI based in MI is doing the project for them. It will also be released in
the North America also. I believe it will also be released in Brazil,
Australia, Japan just to name a few outside of Europe and North America.

Well, Monza because it is easy and famous. I want to try out things when
playing a demo and Monza is a track each driving simulations fan knows
blindfolded.
