Did u ever wonder why they do NOT release a demo of GP2?
Right, because the game ran like total shit on 99 % of all machines at the
time.
I'm sure many people felt that in some way GP2 was a rip-off, (Just remember
the hype in all magazines about the mega-nice graphics u would only be able
to see on your PC 4 years later...).

My advice: TRY before you buy.
If there is no demo.. go for the warez.

Just ask the opinion of people who bought games like Le MANS 24 Hours, ....

The warez version is usually only playable online at least until the first patch
is released....
And no doubt there will be a few of those...

Unfortunatley Grand Prix 3 will not have multiplayer capabilities the way I
understand it, atleast not TCI/IP which I'm thinking definatly is chopping
into their sales. People would buy the game even if they weren't F1 fans to
play it online I know for a fact. Its unfortunate. Maybe they will
surprise us?

What is the web site of EB ?
Sorry, i don't know it.
But it's weird that they accept the returns because everybody could
buy a CD, burn it and re-send it after for a refund, no ?

It's good point. In this world where release dates don't happen it is
usually a good yardstick as to whether a product is imminent or not.

Us insecure Crammondophiles need any information that give us an
indication is to whether things are carrying on according to plan or
not.

Don't slaughter Danny when it was a perfectly reasonable question.

Just downloaded F1 2000 myself - that's a joke by the way. (I'll wink if
I'm telling a joke OK?)

Good Point! To all u self righteous Warez haters. Here in NZ a game
costs $100+, I for one and ***y glad I tried the Warez version of F1
2000 before I plonked down $100 for that crap. Are you really
suggesting it is ok for the Publisher to Rip us of with that kind of

They DID release a demo of GP2. And it even featured the Monaco track, which
was by far the biggest resource hog.

I don't recall any official patch being released for GP2...so why should we
expect any thing to be different with GP3?

If you believe the specs, it will support 4-16 players over LAN. IPX
but also TCP/IP mentioned.

There still is some confusion, though. We'll see next week.
