Haven't seen much discussion on this game yet, so thought I'd offer my
views (yes yes I know it's not a sim but we've been through this before ;-)
)

Well, basically, errm... this game is very very good indeed. Hilarious in
fact. It will have you in stitches. re the recent discussion of NFS2, if
you want an arcade driving sim this is the one to have. I don't see me
playing NFS2 much any more now. The car modelling and physics are
incredible for such an 'arcadey' game. You can flip, spin, do doughnuts to
your hearts content. You can plow over the 'pedestrians' (I presume legal
problems over here in the UK resulted in everyone being changes to Zombies
- pathetic, really, but there's politicians for you) and cows... the game
really is a corker, a nice twist to a game format which has been done to
death now. Plenty of variety, I've had it for one day now and I think it's
going to be one of those games I keep going back to forever.

Word of warning, the hi-res mode really does require some muscle. And I
mean muscle - my 200mmx/Diamond Stealth vram/64mb/512cache machine has no
hope of running it with full detail on. Anyone with a top notch graphics
card such as a Matrox will undoubtedly be better off, but don't let it
worry you because low res mode is fine anyway.

Other than that it's a little shame there's no support for 3dfx cards (or
any 3d cards for that matter) and it doesn't support pedals.

If you want a sim then no, don't look at this, even though the actual
physics and game engine is incredibly advanced. If you want a cross between
NFS/NFS2/screamer/test drive and Doom, and a real laugh thrown in with it,
then I would suggest you check it out.

Finally, well done to the guys at SCI. I love it!

There is a 3dfx version on the way, about 6 weeks time hopefully.
Go to the pczone web site (forget the url) for the***patch. Zip it
onto a floppy and use it from there. Replaces the zombies with proper
people with proper ***.

This game is totally ***y amazing, and the physics are in fact
unmatched in ANY driving game. It is an arcade game, so the physics is
not modelled on 'real life', but you won't find a more sophisticated
piece of physics coding. You can do anything:)

Until the 3dfx patch arrives we are playing one heck of a (VGA) game.
When the patch does get released I'm not so sure it will be a 'game'
anymore - so try to avoid driving after you've played it:)

Take it easy

Discussion is happening in comp.sys.ibmpc.games.action.

This restores the pedestrians, red *** and screams.
