www.pdpi.net  there is NO other gamecard to consider than the L4 IMHO.

When GP2 came out I tried EVERYTHING to make the game run better...
more memory, better graphics card, faster cpu...
... also buying a ACM gamecard.

IT MADE NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER !
Soundcard gameport will work just as well.
All the talk about faster, more stable is lots of bullshit to make you guys
buy the stupid thing.

GP2 was the biggest rip-off in games history.
It procuced great screenshots... but it ran only well with no detail.

All ANALOG gameports are indeed essentialy the same. A digital
gameport is definitely faster.

Try a digital gameport and see if you still feel the same way. THe
difference may be small in some cases, but it's there.

Shumi  (or anyone who can answer this),
Question... how much better is the PDPI L4 than say a digital game port in a newer generation sound card like the Diamond Monster MX300?

Statistics/proof would be much appreciated.  I have both, but don't have any utilities that can measure the difference.  If I don't need to disable the MX300 game port, then I don't want to... plus I like having an extra PCI slot available... :-)

  Thanks!

The L4 has no comparison whatsoever. If you dont notice a difference when you use it than it's not configured correctly. If you ever have any problems getting it to work just email me and I'll help.

You'll see that your calibration values are much more stable, (they dont jump around).
Not only that but it will help with frames rate and it eliminates the polling of the com ports so you have a stable connection when using the game port in online ***.

Maybe you just got a bad one, or it didn't like something in your system.  It
made a difference on MY system...  It's much smoother and easier to control the

Never saw the screenshots, but it ran ok on my system, even without turning
everything off.
