I was waiting for help from my spotter, but he just wouldn't say anything
until it was all out of control and then started saying "Let the 3 pass"
every 4 seconds. I wanted to shoot my spotter at that point :)
So, we slowed to about 5mph and I didn't thing the 3 was _ever_ going to
show up, and I thought we were all just screwed.
But, finally, he and the Pace car came along and it mostly worked out.
Just one of those common, weird Bristol pace things. That track has a
history of being hard to figure out pace wise.

I don't think a ONE of us ever got a message not to pass the pace car. I
know I didn't. I didn't even see the thing...
