Bought it last week and took it back big frame rate hit.Bought the ms
usb non ff wheel.Any comments on it.Do the other ffwheels cause this
big a frame rate hit.

Which game titles did you notice a frame rate reduction?

The MS FF wheel is a notorious CPU hog. I carefully misread the advice on
this ng before I went and bought one a year ago... It uses many many times
more cycles per event than the competition. Particularly recommended is the
Logitech wheel, although the pedal travel is apparently too short with that
one. I don't think there is an ideal solution.

No. The MSFF wheel is famously inefficient at this. Having said that,
I prefer it in feel to any other wheel (Logitech included), and I can
keep up a reasonably steady 36fps even with it on, so I don't care
(nyahh!).
