couple days, and is replacing a 9700pro. Has anyone tried the 6800 series
with GPL yet, and have issues or know the best driver to use? thx!

Not got a 6800 but remember if you're going from an Ati card gpl
generally runs better in OpenGL on nVidia cards, YMMV.

If it does show up, good job!

1 - Melting menus with 8Xs FSAA, it seems we gotta live with that for
the moment.(Latest 56.xx WHQL fixed that on my Ti4600 at 4Xs)
2 - Flashing screen when using Pribluda with 61.76 WHQL. Problem fixed
by using beta 62.20 drivers.
Other than GPL looks awsome with all updates at 1600x1200 with 8Xs FSAA.

your TI 4600 probably would perform much better with the older 45.23
drivers than any of the newer ones, least mine does.
Dunno about the ablsolute newest drivers out, but ones out a just a while
back took my gpl & NR03 enjoyment down below the 30 FPS...
the older 45.23's fixed em back up

Try using OpenGL instead. My 5900 (and my 4200) can happily use 4xAA in
OpenGL but in D3D I get font corruption & the 'melting menus'.
