Ring Trainer for GPL

After much procrastination I finally dl'd the Ring trainer. I convinced
myself that I would learn the track on my own but after 4 or 5 years of
frustration I yielded to the logic of the situation and got the utility. It
works great but my question is can the 65 cars and mod be used? The speeds
are so much greater with the 67's that I'm afraid I'll have to learn new
braking and shift points when switching between the 2 sims.
TIA

The speeds

You pretty much have to at every track anyway.

Yes, you will have to relearn those things, in part at least.

But don't worry: if you haven't learned to drive it in 4 or 5 years,
you'll never will, anyway.  (Seriously)

But yes, I do think it'll work, it'll help, and in the 65's it will be
noticeably easier.

Yes it works. All the ringtrainer does it edit the track.ini to put the
pit stall for your car at different points around the track. Most people
tend to use the one at the start of the long final straight.

I think it's better to start a bit further away than that, the tires
won't have reached optimum temps, which is quite needed for the first
section of the Ring :)
