Nascar Pro with seperate pedals under NT4?

by Jerry » Fri, 15 Oct 1999 04:00:00

I'm trying to get my Nascar Pro to use the seperate pedals under NT4.  The
problem is that I can't get windows Nt to let me calibrate it with the pedals
switched to seperate axis.  I have managed to get it working with combined
pedals though.  I just built myself a Dual Celeron machine with an Abit BP6 and
two Celerons running 506Mhz on Windows NT4 Server.  In preliminary testing
running One Celeron 506Mhz(92Mhz x 5.5), Voodoo3 3000, Win98 at 1024 x 768 at
Mosport at the back of a full field, frame rate would be at about 27.  As the
field spreads out i go right up to 36.  Now the good news is that under NT4
with dual processors detected I start at the back of the grid at about 31 fps.
So GPL is using both CPUs.  The bad news is that my SBLive sound isn't quite
right, which probably is normal for NT from what I have heard.  I really put
the machine together for Windows 2000 (DX7).  Hopefully I can get my hands on a
copy of the Beta RC2.  Anybody know where I can download  a disc image for
Win2KRC2?
