when i calibrate a wheel everything changes to mouse and wont change.
cant find the answer to the prob. anyone got a fix?

I had this same problem.  To fix it, I made a shortcut that runs it in
MS-DOS mode, with a configuration that doesn't load the mouse driver
(since the program never needs a mouse).

Are you using ICR2 or CR?  I had the same problem in ICR2, I fixed with
the patch that is available.

I found the patches for CR but they wont work for some reason in DOS
install but I finally got my wheel to load in windows and it works
there. (for now)

I had the same problem with CART. I couldn't get the wheel calibrated under
windows. At the dos prompt type "mouse off". This unloads the mouse driver and
allows you to set up the controls in the game. You only have to do this once.

That should have read that I couldn't get the wheel calibrated under DOS.

Are you using the DOS version?  I had the same problem and this is
what I did:  I remarked out the mouse driver entries in the startup
files on my clean DOS boot disk and rebooted the computer with it.
This effectively disabled the mouse.  I was then able to set my
controls with no problem.
