Hey all,

I have created a new track for GPL, it is based on the Homestead track
so you have to use Dave Noonan's convertor first to get Homestead for
GPL.

It's very easy to install once you have homestead converted, so just
download it and try it out for a few laps!  If you like it, let me
know!  I know I do...

You can get it at:

http://www.racesimcentral.net/

until it's posted at Simulator ***world.

Have fun!

Frank

Yep.  The oval I'm waiting on is Indy.  The Holy Shrine of Motorsports, before the IRL
degraded it that is.

hehe!
So, are you like so many other people that will *or say they will* boycott
the 500 and not attend or watch on TV? I assume that will apply to the USGP
next year also:-)

Yepper, 715kb, I just downloaded it and it seems fine...  I used
Winzip 6.0.  Maybe you should download it again.

Tell me if it's still corrupted next time you download, I'll give you
another URL or e-mail it to you directly.  Or maybe you could wait for
it to be posted at Sim ***world, wich should be very soon.

Yep.  Seeing as how  1) I live in Detroit & am not rich enough for tickets,
travel, etc I won't be attending, and 2) I work on Sundays so I won't be home
watching it on TV.  Didn't say anything about the radio though :-).  However,
if the good readers of R.A.S. care to put together a collection for me, I'm
sure I could grudgingly find a way to break my boycott & go see it in person!
LOL

OT- it might be the american "holy shrine" but you can safely consider it's
not so out in the real world.

The usgp is an entirely different matter.   The pain and the
disgust is over what once was one of the greatest sporting events
in the world.   now it is just a poor reminder of what once was.
For Satan's child to take an American institution and use it as a club
was willful dis-regard for the fans.  We are  the ones who suffer, not
the Penske's or Simon's.
The fact that Uncle Bernie chose to place a race at Indy is unfortunate at
best,
when there are tracks like Road Atlanta or Road America available.
However,
the trackside facilites should make the usgp more palatable to our
Euro/Asian
bretheren.  :)
