I installed N2, but hadn't configured the joystick in Win95 beforehand, so I
went back and did it afterwards, but N2 won't let me configure the joystick
there. It knows it's there, but won't let me use it. Anyone else with this
problem?

I just installed the game last night and had the same trouble. The
"test" that N2 runs before the install found my joystick and said taht I
passed the test.
I had to go into Control Panel, calibrate the joystick, rerun N2 set up
and then it let me calibrate the joystick for the sim.
