NASCAR2 joystick issue

I'm unable to calibrate my Wingman Extreme Digital joystick under the
"Control" menu of the game. (No response to the x or y setting.) I've tried
downloading the patch for win95 ver. B, I've tried installing the game in
DOS, as well as running the game in DOS, but to no avail. When I check to
see what version of Win95 I'm running, as per the directions at the Sierra
FAQ page, I see 4.00.950, but no letter. Frustration is setting in. Any
suggestions?

Sounds like you need to install the microsoft patch for win95 to bring
win95 up to the B version.  It shopuld still be the sevice pack 1
located on the ms web site.

Same problem here.  No joystick response...although it tests fine.

(I'm using a Sidewinder PrecisionPro digital joystick.)

If you find a fix, please pass it on to me.  Thanks.

btw - mine is win95 B. doesn't seem to make any difference.

Have you installed the Nascar 2 patch? I had joystick recognition problems until
i did, then the patch fixed it.
